The Story of the Fragrance

It begins with the light of citrus and flowers… then the storm comes from the depths.

Hersh Al Asof is a unisex Oriental woody fragrance that combines a bright opening of citrus and white flowers with a warm heart where woods and spices intertwine, before reaching a deeper base led by oud, amber and vetiver.

Linden blossom and sambac jasmine begin with lemon and bergamot in a radiant, fresh way, but this opening doesn't reveal everything.

As the scent develops, the citrus calms and the woods and spices gradually appear, until the fragrance reaches its true character: oud, precious woods, vetiver and amber.

Calm at the start… and a strength that appears the closer you get to the base.

Fragrance Notes

Opening:
Linden Blossom – Sambac Jasmine – Lemon – Bergamot

An opening that combines the radiance of citrus with a floral character; lemon and bergamot give the start vitality, while jasmine and linden blossom add softness and elegance.

Heart:
Floral Notes – Warm Woods – Touches of Spice

Here the scent begins to shift from radiance to warmth, with the woody and spicy side appearing more clearly.

Base:
Oud – Precious Woods – Vetiver – Amber

A deep Oriental woody base; oud and woods form the main structure, vetiver adds a dry, earthy character, while amber gives the finish its warmth.

Fragrance Family

Oriental × Woody × Floral × Amber

Al Asof doesn't present oud on its own, but builds it on top of a floral citrus opening, so the scent moves between more than one character as it develops.

The Scent's Journey

The start is calmer than the name suggests.

Lemon and bergamot open the scene with a clear freshness, surrounded by the softness of linden blossom and sambac jasmine.

Then the picture begins to change.

The citrus recedes, and the woody notes come in with spices to make the scent warmer and deeper.

And in the final stage, oud appears.

It is met by precious woods, vetiver and amber, turning the scent from a bright opening into a stronger, weightier Oriental base.

And here we understand the name: Al Asof doesn't reveal its strength from the first spray… it builds it gradually.

The Fragrance's Character

Oriental × Woody × Warm × Oud × Elegant

It combines two different faces: a brighter, softer start, and a deeper oud-woody finish.

This makes it suitable for those who love Oriental perfumes but don't want the fragrance to start with a heavy, direct oud from the very first moment.

Harmony of the Notes

Bergamot and lemon give the composition its first radiance, while jasmine and linden blossom soften the sharpness of the citrus with a soft floral character.

Woods and spices represent the turning point, then oud and vetiver come to give the base its weight, and amber brings the ingredients together in a warm finish.

From light to wood… and from freshness to the depth of oud.

When to Wear It?

Because of its Oriental woody character, Al Asof especially suits evenings, occasions, meetings and appearances that call for a fragrance with a clear presence.

Its composition also leans toward mild and cold weather more than intense heat, especially with the prominence of oud, amber and woods.

Hersh Al Asof… it starts calmly, then lets the oud have the final word.
