Shipping and Delivery Policy – Sesame World

At Sesame, we are committed to ensuring your shopping experience is convenient and secure, from the moment you place your order until you receive your product.
We are committed to delivering your orders quickly and with the highest possible quality, in partnership with reliable shipping companies inside and outside Egypt.
Please read the following shipping and delivery policy carefully:


1. Shipping within the Arab Republic of Egypt

Shipping Options:

  • Express Delivery: Within 1 to 2 business days — Additional fees: 250 EGP (Cairo and Giza only).
  • Standard Delivery: 2 to 5 business days — Shipping fees: 100 to 200 EGP depending on the governorate.
  • Free Shipping: For orders over 15,000 EGP.

Coverage Areas: We cover all governorates of Egypt except North Sinai and some remote areas.

Shipping Companies: We cooperate with the best shipping companies in Egypt such as Jet Express, Bosta, Egypt Post, FedEx, and Aramex to ensure fast and safe delivery.

Tracking Shipments: You can request a tracking number via email or WhatsApp immediately after your order is shipped to track your shipment step by step.


2. Shipping to GCC Countries

Shipping Options:

  • Express Shipping: 3 to 5 business days — Prices start from $55 (and vary by weight and destination).
  • Standard Shipping: 7 to 10 business days — Prices start from $39 (and vary by weight and destination).

Coverage Areas: We cover all Gulf countries: Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, and Bahrain.

Shipping Companies: We use reliable international shipping companies such as DHL and FedEx to deliver your orders safely and quickly.

Tracking Shipments: You will receive an email with a tracking number as soon as your order is shipped to track your shipment in real-time.


3. Shipping to the Rest of the World

Shipping Options:

  • Express Shipping: 5 to 10 business days — Starts from $70 (depending on weight and destination).
  • Standard Shipping: 10 to 15 business days — Starts from $39 (depending on weight and destination).

Coverage Areas: We cover most countries worldwide in cooperation with our international partners.

Shipping Companies: We use reliable international shipping companies such as DHL, FedEx, and UPS to ensure the best shipping experience.

Tracking Shipments: You will receive a tracking number via email as soon as your order is shipped to easily track the delivery status.


4. Delivery Attempts and Rescheduling

The shipping company makes two free delivery attempts within Egypt.

If both attempts fail:

  • An additional fee will be charged for a third re-shipment, or
  • The order will be delivered to the nearest shipping company branch according to the customer's location.

The customer must contact us within 24 hours of the failure notification to arrange a suitable delivery option.


5. Incomplete Addresses or Modifications

  • The customer is responsible for providing a correct and detailed address.
  • Any error in the address may lead to delivery delays.
  • The customer bears any fees resulting from address modification or re-shipping.

6. Remote Areas and Additional Fees

In some remote areas, additional fees or extended delivery times may apply.
The customer will be informed in advance before processing the order.


7. Delivery Times and Days

  • Delivery is on business days only (Sunday to Thursday).
  • There is no delivery on official holidays or weekends.
  • Delivery is typically between 9 AM and 8 PM.

8. Proof of Delivery

Upon delivery, the shipping company issues an electronic notification that serves as official proof of delivery.
This proof is final in any dispute regarding receipt of the shipment.


9. Delivery Failure and Order Cancellation

In some cases, delivery may fail due to customer absence, an incorrect address, or no response.

First Attempt: The customer is contacted to schedule a delivery time.

Rescheduling: Redelivery is attempted once for free within two business days.

Second Attempt: If the second attempt fails, an additional re-shipping fee will be charged.

Repeated Failure: After two failed attempts, the order is automatically canceled, with shipping and return fees deducted.

Refusal of Receipt: This is considered a cancellation by the customer, and the same terms apply.


10. Policy on Opening Packages Before Receipt

It is not permitted to open the package or try the product before receipt.

All shipments are delivered sealed according to secure packaging standards.

If opening is requested before receipt:

  • The shipment is immediately canceled.
  • The full insurance amount is forfeited.
  • Reshipment is only possible after paying new insurance.

Important Information

Customs Duties and Taxes: The customer is responsible for any customs duties or taxes.

Delivery Address: Please ensure the accuracy of details to avoid delays.

Processing Time: One to two business days before shipping.

Holidays: Delays may occur during public holidays.


Cash on Delivery

  • A small service fee is added.
  • The commission is 1% of the order value.
  • Orders less than 2000 EGP: a flat fee of 20 EGP.
  • Fees are added automatically before shipping.
